This covers the public website at ovydo.com. The signed-in application and the third-party sites you choose to visit have their own settings.
Your language, remembered locally.
English is the default; translations use prefixes such as /fr. Your browser’s preferred languages can suggest a translation, never force a redirect. A language you choose stays in your browser’s local storage, and closing the suggestion is remembered until you close the tab. Currency is detected automatically; no currency preference is stored.
Visit counts from our host.
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, counts visits and measures page speed without setting cookies or storing anything in your browser.
The application is separate.
Signing in takes you to app.ovydo.com, which uses cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and secure your session.
Animation and motion preferences
When your device requests reduced motion, Ovydo limits non-essential animations. You can also pause animations manually. Your pause preference is remembered for the current browser tab session.

If optional services are added later, their controls will describe their purpose, stay off by default and genuinely prevent them from loading until you choose.
