Protection, area by area.

01

Your account

Protection starts at sign-in.

  • Encrypted connections

Connections to the website and the application are encrypted (HTTPS).

  • Passwords kept as hashes

Ovydo never stores your password as you typed it, only a hash of it.

  • Checked against known breaches

A new password is compared with known data breaches. Only the first five characters of its hash are used for the check; the password itself never leaves Ovydo.

  • Second factor and passkeys

Both are available for your account as soon as you turn them on.

  • Sensitive actions confirmed again

Before a sensitive action, such as deleting your account, Ovydo asks you to confirm your identity.

02

Your workspace and your team

Who can act, in which workspace, on what.

  • Each workspace isolated

Workspaces are kept apart. Belonging to one gives no access to another.

  • Access follows team roles

Each member acts within the role the workspace gives them.

  • Each sensitive action checked

Who is asking, in which workspace and for which action: all three are checked before the action runs.

  • An audit log

The actions taken in each workspace are recorded in an audit log.

03

Your connected social accounts

Ovydo uses the access each network grants, for the features you use.

  • Only what you connect

Ovydo only accesses the accounts you connect, and only for the features you use: publishing, answering, and the statistics of your own accounts.

  • Disconnect at any time

Disconnect an account in Ovydo, or revoke its access from the network’s own settings. For Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions.

  • Google Limited Use

Information received from Google APIs is used and transferred according to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Never sold, never for ads

Data received from social networks or Google is not sold, not used for advertising and not used to train artificial-intelligence models.

04

Backups and deletion

Removing access is not erasing content. You can do both.

  • Backups and deletion

Where immediate deletion of backup copies is not possible, they remain protected and excluded from ordinary use until deletion under the applicable retention cycle. We explain any justified delay or exception on request.

  • Delete your account

In the application, from your account settings, after confirming your identity.

  • Close a workspace

Its owner closes it with their password and a typed confirmation. Content, connected channels and team access are deleted.

  • Scope and timing

You can request deletion at donnees@ovydo.com. We delete the relevant data without undue delay, subject to justified legal retention and the handling of backup copies described in our Privacy policy. Deleting data in Ovydo does not delete posts already published on social networks.
